Data protection and consent

Here are the rules, for online video consultations or online coaching. These are the same rules that apply to our on-site patients.

In the course of your treatment, data about you will be collected and processed by us to the extent necessary to fulfill the treatment contract. This data may also be passed on to third parties (e.g. laboratories, doctors providing further treatment) to the extent necessary in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations. We will only transfer your personal data to third parties if this is permitted by law or if you have given your consent.

For the billing of our services rendered to you, we intend to commission PVS Südwest GmbH, a professional association of the medical profession with many years of experience in physician fee billing. The purpose of this cooperation is to relieve our administration in billing issues. This gives us more time to provide optimal care for our patients. Your fee accounting will be carried out according to our specifications.

We would therefore like to ask you to read the attached declaration of consent and to give your consent to the described procedure for billing fees, in particular to the disclosure of your health data required for this purpose. Your consent is voluntary. Your treatment is independent of this declaration of consent.

The recipient of the data is PVS Südwest GmbH; as a professional secrecy holder, it is subject to the provisions of the statutory duty of confidentiality and data protection, just as we ourselves are. Sometimes questions or requests arise regarding an invoice. PVS Südwest GmbH will be happy to help you in this case as well, answering your questions about the combination of digits, preparing duplicates and also supporting you in counter-argumentation if there are objections from your payer or insurance company.

The health data processed by PVS Südwest GmbH will be blocked as soon as the purpose ceases to exist and deleted after the statutory retention periods have expired. You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerning you. You can also request the correction of incorrect data. In addition, under certain conditions, you have the right to have data deleted, the right to restrict data processing and the right to data portability.

Consent to private invoicing

Declaration of consent

I agree to the disclosure for the purpose of billing for medical services rendered, in particular the information taken from the patient file (name, date of birth, address, diagnosis, payer, examination and treatment data) as well as the assignment of the claim for the purpose of collection to PVS Südwest GmbH, C 8, 9, 68159 Mannheim with offices in Karlsruhe and Freiburg as well as the printing and dispatch of invoices by PVS SSC - Shared Service Center - GmbH, Boxbergweg 3a, 66538 Neunkirchen.

2. i agree that PVS Südwest GmbH will invoice the services of my physician and, if applicable, co-treating physicians in its own name and will collect for its own account. Should there be differences of opinion regarding the justification of the claim, I agree to the forwarding to PVS Südwest GmbH of the data from the patient's file that is additionally required to justify the invoice. In the event of a legal dispute, PVS Südwest GmbH will be a party to the proceedings; my physician may be heard as a witness.

This declaration also applies to claims arising from future treatments. It can be revoked at any time with effect for the future vis-à-vis my physician or PVS Südwest GmbH. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of this consent up to that point. In the event of revocation, no further data transmission will take place between my physician and PVS Südwest GmbH.
