Sufferers are exhausted, powerless, in need of boundless rest but at the same time restless and tense inside.
They feel short of breath and strained during small physical exertions such as walking up and down stairs. In addition, there is forgetfulness, difficulty finding words and concentrating, sensitivity to stimuli, irritability and many other complaints.
Is all this due to overwork? Is there an illness behind it? Is it depression in disguise?
We are not happy with this designation.
