Initial contacts
We need to distinguish between different types of insurance, as different legal regulations apply in each case.
Legally insured
Online or on site
You can book both online appointments and appointments with us on site here.
Unfortunately, there has been an unfortunate new regulation since 1.4.22. Since then, we are only allowed to offer a limited number of video consultations that are covered by statutory health insurance.
It is therefore possible that you, as a legally insured person, will have to put up with longer waiting times for a video consultation. There are efforts to relax these restrictions, which we would very much welcome. Then we hope to be able to expand the offer quickly. However, as long as this condition exists, we ask you not to make use of a video consultation if you live nearby and are mobile.
The normal first examination on site is not affected by the restriction. Here the waiting time should also be identical.
As an alternative, you can also book a private video consultation as a legally insured person. The costs amount to approx. 40,- €. If you subsequently come for a personal visit, we ask you to inform us of this so that we can bill all possible services via the statutory health insurance.

Insured outside Germany
If you are insured outside Germany, you can book a private appointment with us. You will then receive an invoice after about 6 weeks from the private medical clearinghouse, which acts on our behalf.
The costs are depending on the duration between about 30,- to 60,- € (mostly about 40,-€).
Follow-up appointments
Court report
Sufferers often turn to us for an expert opinion (e.g. in the case of fibromyalgia, fatigue syndromes such as CFS or functional disorders). Often the experience is based on the fact that neither the orthopedic, psychiatric or neurological expert opinion has sufficiently evaluated the pain symptoms.
If you would like us to prepare an expert opinion, the following procedure is recommended:
- You are welcome to ask us in what time frame we can prepare an expert opinion (anmeldung@weiss.de). Then talk to your legal representative (e.g. lawyer, pension representative or VdK) that he can inform the court that we will prepare an expert opinion according to §109. This paragraph states that you have the right to appoint an expert yourself.
- If the court agrees, we will receive the case files and arrange a date with you for the examination.
- We do not prepare private expert opinions without a court order, as this usually only causes unnecessary costs for you.
Direct to therapy
Diagnosis is the first step before therapy. Therefore, we usually first make an appointment for diagnostics and a discussion of therapeutic options.
However, if the diagnosis has already been made in your case, the journey is long and you would like to come for intensive therapy as soon as possible, we offer you a short-term route.
The procedure:
- We first conduct a video consultation to discuss your concerns.
- We send you information and a preliminary treatment and cost plan.
- On the first day of treatment, the usual examinations and a possible adjustment of the treatment plan take place
Emergency appointments
If you are suffering from very pronounced symptoms that cannot be postponed (such as fear of swallowing with threatening weight loss, frequent panic attacks, severe dizziness, massive shortness of breath), you can write us an email (anmeldung@weiss.de) or call (0621 46086060) and ask for an emergency appointment. We will then try to make a short-term appointment possible.
